The Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytology: An Updated Review

چکیده

The Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytology (TPS 1.0, published in 2016) is the first standardized, evidence-based reporting system established as an international urine specimens after International Congress of Paris. Its primary purpose to reduce rate unnecessary indeterminate diagnoses, but maintain excellent performance cytology, detecting high-grade urothelial carcinoma. comprises six diagnostic categories, well each category’s criteria, estimated risk malignancy, and management recommendations. After years, TPS 2.0 was applied 2022 upon unfolding new data. clarifies diagnosis updates malignancy category developments molecular tests. This review provides updated summary 2.0. Some pitfalls tests were also discussed.
